How Subscriptions Work on Fansted

Fansted connects you with creators who sell exclusive content. This guide walks you through finding creators, understanding their plans, and subscribing.

Find creators on Discover

Open the Discover page to browse creators. You have 2 ways to find channels:

• Daily Random – Refreshes every 24 hours with a new selection of creators. Visit daily to find channels you might have missed.
• Search – Type a creator's name or topic to find specific channels.

Filter creators by category:

• Technology
• Business
• Education
• Creative
• Lifestyle
• And more

Each category shows creators who focus on that topic. Use filters to narrow down to the channels you exactly want.

Explore a channel page

Click any channel to open its public page. Every channel page shows:

Read the description carefully. Good creators explain exactly what content they publish and how often. Check FAQs for answers about content access, refunds, or specific topics covered.

Understand subscription plans

Creators set their own plans. Each plan includes:

• Name – Describes the tier (e.g., "Basic", "Premium", "VIP")
• Price – Monthly, yearly, or one-time cost
• Benefits – What you get access to at this tier
• Billing cycle – How often you're charged

Plan types

Free plans

Some creators offer free plans with limited content. Subscribe instantly without payment. Great for trying a channel before upgrading.

Monthly plans

Pay each month. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date. Cancel anytime before renewal to stop future charges.

Yearly plans

Pay once per year. Creators often discount yearly plans compared to 12 months of monthly billing. Your subscription renews automatically after 12 months.

One-time plans

Pay once, access forever. No recurring charges. You keep access to all content included in the plan indefinitely.

How to choose

• Pick monthly if you want flexibility to cancel anytime
• Pick yearly if you're committed and want savings
• Pick one-time if you want permanent access without renewals

Compare plans on the channel page. Higher tiers usually unlock more content or exclusive benefits.

Subscribe to a plan

• Open the channel page
• Review available plans
• Click Subscribe on your chosen plan

Fansted currently accepts:

• Debit/Credit cards – Visa, Mastercard, Verve
• Mobile money – MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo (Ghana)
• Bank transfer – Direct from your bank account

Payment processes instantly. Once successful, you gain immediate access to all content in your plan.

Subscribe without an account

Don't have a Fansted account? Use guest checkout:

• Click Subscribe on any paid plan
• Enter your name & email address
• Complete payment
• Receive a confirmation email with access instructions

Your subscription links to your email. Create a Fansted account later using the same email, and your subscriptions transfer automatically. No extra steps needed.

Guest checkout works for all plans.

Manage your subscriptions

After subscribing, view and manage all subscriptions from your subscriptions dashboard.

For each subscription, you can:

• View your current plan and billing date
• Access the creator's content
• Cancel future renewals

Cancel a subscription

Go to your Subscriptions page

Find the subscription you want to cancel

Click Cancel subscription

Confirm cancellation

When you cancel:

• You keep access until your current billing period ends
• You won't be charged again
• You can resubscribe anytime

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period. If you paid for a month, you keep access for the full month. No partial refunds, but no early cutoff either.
