Getting Paid: Payouts and Settlements

Payout accounts
To sell paid plans, you must connect a payout account. Fansted uses Paystack to process earnings and distribute funds. You can receive payouts via any Ghana bank account or mobile money wallet (MTN, Telecel, and AT).
Connect an account
Navigate to Payments > Payout Account in your dashboard.
- Click Add Payout Account.
- Select your account type: Bank Account or Mobile Money.
- Enter your details
- Click Verify.
Verification process
Fansted verifies accounts automatically.
- Bank Accounts: The system resolves your account number against the bank's database to confirm the registered name.
- Mobile Money: The system verifies that the number is active and registered on the selected network.
Understand payouts
Settlement timeline
Earnings from your subscription plans accumulate as subscribers pay. Fansted processes payouts automatically on the next business day (T+1).
- Weekday earnings: Paid out the following day.
- Weekend/Holiday earnings: Paid out on the next available business day. For example, earnings from Friday, Saturday, and Sunday arrive in your account on Monday.
Track your earnings
Monitor pending settlements and payment history directly from your Payments Dashboard.
Multiple accounts
You can add multiple payout accounts to your profile, but only one is active at a time.
- Active Account: Receives all current and future payouts.
- Switching: Toggle the active status between your saved accounts whenever necessary.
- Continuity: Switching accounts does not affect pending settlements or existing subscriber cycles. Only the destination of the next payout changes.
Platform fees
Fansted charges a flat 10% platform fee on every transaction.
- What it covers: This fee includes all payment processing costs, hosting for your video and downloads, and payout distribution.
- Net earnings: You receive 90% of every subscription payment directly to your payout account.
- No hidden charges: Fansted does not charge extra for processing payouts or maintaining your account.
